ProHire brings companies and professionals into one ecosystem
ProHire was born from the pain of those who hire. Epicora built the ecosystem that connects companies and professionals — app (iOS and Android) and web, with smart matching, chat and interviews in a single flow.

- What we did
- Recruitment app (iOS/Android) + web — an HR × professionals marketplace
- Platform
- React Native/Expo app + Web (React, NestJS, MongoDB)
The starting point
Hiring well is hard on both sides. Companies drown HR in résumés by email, screening over WhatsApp and candidates in a spreadsheet; the professional sends a résumé into the void and rarely learns what happened. The two ends look for each other but never meet.
ProHire was born from exactly that pain — created by managers who live the daily struggle of finding and hiring talent. The idea: an ecosystem that brings companies and professionals into the same place, from the job posting to the hire. It just needed a builder — and Epicora came in on a referral from Ideal Veículos to build the product from scratch, from design to go-live.
- HR drowning in scattered résumés, with no record of what had been tried.
- Professionals sending résumés into the void and vanishing — no reply, no match.
- No tool brought the two sides together with process, chat and scheduling.
The turning point
Instead of one more job board, Epicora designed — alongside the client — a two-sided ecosystem: on one side the professional, in a native app (iOS and Android) with a complete profile, job search and confidential applications; on the other the company and HR, with full management in the web panel (also available in the app), posting jobs and receiving candidates suggested by a matching algorithm. Between them, chat and interview scheduling right inside the platform.
The method came before the code: UI/UX first — a clickable prototype designed and validated with the client before writing a single line —, followed by incremental development through to go-live. Finally, publishing to the stores (App Store and Google Play), with care to align the product with the platforms' policies, especially Apple's. Subscriptions and billing via Stripe: freemium for professionals, a plan for companies.
The decision that unlocked it
Instead of pushing résumés around, the system brings together whoever fits: the company posts the job, the algorithm suggests the most compatible professionals and the professional expresses interest — all with chat and interviews in one place.
What we delivered
For the professional: profile and confidential applications
In the app, the professional builds a complete profile (experience, courses, certificates, skills and photo), tracks progress and turns on confidential applications, which hide the profile from the current employer. Jobs arrive suggested by the match.
For the company: candidates suggested by match
The company posts the job and receives candidates ranked by compatibility — less manual screening, more focus on who truly fits — with filters by region and interest.
Chat and interviews in the platform
Company and professional talk over the built-in chat and schedule the interview without leaving the platform, with push and email notifications at every step.
Ecosystem management panel
An admin panel tracks the whole ecosystem — metrics for jobs, companies and professionals, distribution by sector and region — with advertising management and subscriptions via Stripe.
How we made it solid
Role-based access (RBAC)
Three clearly separated profiles — professional, company and administration — each seeing only what belongs to it, with permissions enforced in the system and JWT authentication.
Professional privacy
Confidential applications let the professional look for opportunities without exposing the profile to the current employer — privacy as a feature, not a promise.
In the stores and staged
Published on the App Store and Google Play, with every change validated in staging before production. Live and evolving in maintenance.
The result
A few months after launch, ProHire is already a living, fast-growing ecosystem: in the last month, +446% professionals, +590% jobs created and +425% companies. Companies and professionals joining together is the sign that both sides of the marketplace are turning.
More than numbers, ProHire delivered what did not exist for the client: a single place where hiring happens from start to finish — in the professional's pocket and on the HR screen.
