The club only existed on Instagram — now it has a home of its own online
Bravio Combat Club had over 100 students, seven disciplines and no address online that was actually theirs. Epicora built the club’s website — the story, the method, the disciplines and a schedule that never goes stale — from the on-site briefing to launch in five weeks.

The starting point
Bravio Combat Club is a combat club in Chapecó, Brazil. In two years its three founders built something that no longer fit inside a social profile: over 100 students and seven disciplines, from Classic Boxing to Sparring, plus Boxing School, Boxing 360, Kids Boxing, Pre-Sparring and Jiu-Jitsu. Yet the club’s entire digital existence lived in one place: Instagram.
And Instagram is great for reach — and terrible at explaining. Visitors landing on the profile couldn’t tell Boxing School from Boxing 360, or which class suited someone who had never trained. The class schedule was published as an image in the feed: it sank below newer posts within days, and whoever finally found it was often looking at an outdated version passing for the current one. And when someone searched for boxing in Chapecó, there was nothing of the club to find.
- Presence entirely on Instagram — no address online that belonged to the club.
- Class schedule published as an image: it aged in the feed and circulated out of date.
- Nowhere to tell the story, the method or explain the seven disciplines.
- Invisible in search: people looking for boxing in Chapecó never found Bravio.
- Basic questions — "I’ve never trained", "do I need gloves?" — answered one by one in DMs.
The turning point
Epicora started on site, inside the club — to understand not what a gym website usually has, but what Bravio actually is. And it was clear right there that the raw material wasn’t photos of equipment: it was the club’s culture. The manifesto, the "carve your own path", the three values — Heart, Victory and Excellence — and the standard the club holds itself to: "if the student isn’t improving, the method is at fault".
Instead of a generic gym template, Epicora designed a site that sounds like the club and orders the content the way a visitor’s questions actually arrive: which disciplines exist → which time slot works for me → who are these people → where is it → and the questions nobody wants to ask in a DM. A prototype was validated internally, presented to the client in person, adjusted and shipped.
And the site grew with the club. When Bravio opened Jiu-Jitsu, it came in as the seventh discipline with its own schedule and three class levels; when the club moved to its new HQ in downtown Chapecó, the address and map followed. Each of those is a small, controlled change — not a new project.
The decision that unlocked it
The schedule stopped being an image and became a real table: both grids — boxing and jiu-jitsu — live as data in the code, colour-coded by class type, with a detail popover per class. Updating a time slot became changing a value and publishing, not redesigning a post.
What we delivered
Seven disciplines, explained
Each discipline gets its own space, with copy that answers the only question that matters: is this class for me? From Classic Boxing for the complete beginner to Sparring for those chasing competition — the whole journey, ordered by intensity.
Two schedules that stay current
A real table for boxing (eleven time slots, from 6am to 8:30pm, six days a week) and another for jiu-jitsu, with horizontal swipe on mobile, colour by class type and a popover with the class details. No images: it’s content, so it can be updated and found.
The story, the manifesto, the conduct
The three founders, the club manifesto, the three values in depth, and a community block with video testimonials from students — social proof told by the people who train, not by the club.
Location, questions and a single front door
A map of the new downtown HQ, eight straight answers to common questions — from "do I need gear?" to how membership works — and WhatsApp pinned on screen. No forms, no sign-up: the conversation happens where the student already is.
How we made it hold up
Built for the phone of someone coming from Instagram
Almost every visitor arrives from a link on a phone, often on mobile data. Next.js 16 with React 19, images served at screen size, fonts with fallbacks so text never disappears while loading, and CDN delivery on Vercel.
Content as text — readable by people and machines
Disciplines, schedule, values and FAQ are real text, not images. A screen reader can read it; Google and AI search can index it. That’s the difference between existing in search and existing only for people who already follow the profile.
Controlled change and clear rules for visitors
All content lives in a single versioned file: every change is traceable, reviewed and inspected in a preview environment before production. And the site launched with its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, drafted from the club’s official records.
The outcome
In five weeks, a club with over 100 students and seven disciplines went from "exists on Instagram" to having an address of its own online — a place where the story is told in full, the schedule is always right, the questions are already answered and the next step is one tap on WhatsApp. The feed keeps doing what it does well: reach. Anyone who wants to know what Bravio is now has somewhere to go.
And the proof that the site is alive is in the site itself: since launch it has absorbed a new discipline (Jiu-Jitsu, with its own schedule and three class levels), a new address (the downtown HQ) and three versions of the class schedule — each shipped as a small change, with nothing rebuilt.
